Breath Of Fresh Air
The perfect place to spend your time!
This gorgeous kitchen won ‘Best Kitchen Renovation’ in its class at the 2018 Georgie Awards. The home was built 40 years ago and needed upgrading and an aesthetic re-fresh. The kitchen was central to the renovation and required some structural changes, upgrading all the plumbing pipes and more. By shifting the wall between the kitchen and the dining room, we were able to add substantial space to the kitchen. The old cabinets were replaced with contemporary units, achieving much better overall function.
Hi-gloss acrylic flat-panel upper cabinet doors have touch latches, soft close, and full extension slides. The striking lower cabinets are flat cut, horizontal grain, walnut veneer – very cool! The new cabinet wall is defined by a thin stained-wood frame. This clever detail ties everything together nicely.
This wall cabinet contains an integrated fridge, wall ovens and plenty of appropriate storage. A new oversized linear island created the perfect workstation which seats 4 comfortably and adds convenient storage. White Caesarstone was chosen for the perimeter and island countertops and to complete the look, there’s a dazzling backlit, back painted glass backsplash.
We added a matching wood-finish window bench to the nook area. By removing the old phone desk and a small closet, we were able have an open concept space. The door from kitchen to dining was removed which achieved a more unified feel.
Our clients love their new kitchen, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
